- Dr. Timothy Durham, Omaha, Neb., has been named chair of the Department of Hospital Dentistry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, and Dr. Merlyn Vogt, Lincoln, Neb., has been named the director of Alumni Affairs.
- Dr. Henry A. Gremillion, Gainesville, Fla., received the Annual Dental Educator Award from the Florida Dental Association.
- Dr. Edward K. Hahn, North Richland Hills, Texas, received the Distinguished Service Award from North Hills Hospital for his 40 years of continuous service.
- Dr. Richard A. Huot, Vero Beach, Fla., was elected president of the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association.
- Dr. Carliza Marcos, San Marcos, Calif., was elected president of the Northern California Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Other officers are Dr. Kazuya Uyesugi, San Jose, vice president; Dr. Ricardo Perez, Pleasant Hill, secretary; and Dr. Lorna Okada, San Jose, treasurer.
- Dr. M. Jeffrey Morton, Medford, N.J., was installed as president of the New Jersey Society of Periodontists. Other officers are Dr. Marc J. Goldman, Milburn, president-elect; Dr. David A. Goldberg, Plainfield, secretary and editor; and Dr. Sophia Chadda, Basking Ridge, treasurer.
- Dr. John S. Olmsted, Greensboro, N.C., was installed as president of the American Association of Endodontists. Other officers are Dr. Shepard S. Goldstein, Framingham, Mass., president-elect; Dr. Louis E. Rossman, Philadelphia, vice president; Dr. Clara Spatafore, Sewickley, Pa., secretary; and Dr. Gerald N. Glickman, Dallas, treasurer.
- Dr. Edward B. Sevetz, Orange Park, Fla., was installed as president of the Academy of Osseointegration. Other officers are Dr. Steven E. Eckert, Rochester, Minn., president-elect; and Dr. Steven G. Lewis, Cincinnati, vice president.
- Dr. Mary Frances Stavropoulos, Gainesville, Fla., has been named an examiner of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgerys Examination Committee.
