Dr. Francis DiPlacido, Fort Myers, Fla., was elected vice-president of the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care.
Dr. Clifford O. Dummett, Los Angeles, received the Callahan Award from the Ohio Dental Association. Dr. Julia R. Kinlaw, Cincinnati; Dr. Arthur J. Ranz, Cincinnati; Dr. James R. Weber, Cincinnati; Dr. Paul S. Casamassimo, Columbus; Dr. Jeffrey D. Amstutz, Warren; and Dr. William J. Zouhary, Rossford, each received a Humanitarian Award. Dr. David E. Heisel, Westerville, received the Achievement Award. Dr. Gregory M. Beten, Cleveland, received the N. Wayne Hiatt Rising Star Award. Dr. Sanford M. Franklin, Cincinnati, received the Distinguished Dentist Award.
Dr. Ernest Newbrun, San Francisco, received the Jim Wolfensohn Award from the Sydney University Graduates Union of North America.
