The Association’s Product Catalog now is available online, offering members instant access to the complete line of ADA products at "www.adacatalog.org".

Whether you’re looking for practice management books, continuing education videos or CD-ROMs, reference materials or patient education brochures, the online catalog makes it easy to find the items you want and order them from home or the office, whenever you want to.

Log on to the catalog site as you would any other member-only area of ADA.org. Browse the catalog’s offerings by product category or search by entering a title, topic or item number. A photograph of each product is available online, along with a brief description that includes quantity and cost information, so you’ll know exactly what you’re ordering.

Add each item you wish to purchase to your electronic shopping cart before proceeding to the checkout area. From here, you need only to enter credit card information for payment and shipping information. Checkout transactions are processed on a secure server using advanced encryption technology, so you can be assured that your credit card information will remain private.

After placing an order, you’ll receive a confirmation number that also will be sent to you by e-mail along with a summary of your purchases and the total cost. This confirmation number can be used to track any orders placed.

THE ORAL CANCER CONNECTION
September marked the launch of the ADA’s national oral cancer awareness campaign. Featuring advertisements on billboards, bus shelter signs, taxi tops and other media, campaign rollouts have already taken place in Chicago; San Francisco; Kansas City, Mo.; and Seattle.

Between now and February, the campaign will be launched in seven more cities: Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Houston, Miami, New York and Philadelphia.

If you’re interested in conducting an in-office campaign to coincide with the Association’s national efforts, a collection of oral cancer literature available on ADA.org can help you prepare. Among the offerings are the latest research on oral cancer published in JADA and available in full-text format, news stories on oral cancer research conducted across the country, a link to ADA.org’s Risk Management Article Database for legal information pertinent to oral cancer treatment and the latest news on the national campaign.
