APPOINTMENTS/ELECTIONS/AWARDS

Dr. Thomas F. Trinkner, Columbia, S.C., was named editor of the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Robert E. Mecklenburg, Potomac, Md., will receive the 2001 John Knutson Distinguished Service Award in Dental Public Health from the American Public Health Association.

Dr. L. Don Shumaker, Cleveland, received the 2001 Ohio Dental Association Distinguished Dentist Award.

Dr. John I. Ingle, San Diego, and Dr. Charles M. Goldstein, Los Angeles, were inducted into the University of Southern California School of Dentistry’s Hall of Fame.
