Dental auxiliaries, universities, and academic freedom

P Milgrom

The practicing dental profession lately has asked questions regarding the propriety of research programs designed to investigate the use of expanded duty dental auxiliaries. This paper examines the status of dental auxiliaries, universities, and academic freedom.
