TREATING LOCALIZED REFRACTORY IDIOPATHIC GINGIVITIS WITH SUPEROXOL

The authors describe a case of localized refractory idiopathicgingivitis in a 29-year-old patient that was successfully treatedwith hydrogen peroxide (Superoxol, Sultan Chemists, Inc.). Thegingivitis was refractory to previous oral hygiene measuresand was persistent in the face of meticulous oral hygiene. Thiscase illustrates a successful treatment measure for an uncommonclinical challenge.
