Patients' perceptions of the need to provide a complete health history to dental professionals was incorrectly reported in "Assessing Patient Willingness to Reveal Health History Information," March JADA. The authors wish to clarify that 88 percent of surveyed dental patients believed dentists need to know everything about a patient's health status; 87 percent believe the dental hygienist also should have access to this information.
