DENTAL SPECIALTIES

Harold R. Stanley D.D.S.1

1 University of Florida Gainesville, Fla.

The eleventh paragraph in "Dental Specialties" ("Letters," October 1995) should read: "In dentistry, if the concept of subspecialty could be accepted, a self-designated specialty such as anesthesiology could be made a subspecialty of a primary dental specialty such as oral surgery, and implantology could become a subspecialty under either prosthodontics or oral surgery." We regret this error and apologize for any confusion it may have caused.
