A technique was described that allows root canal obstructions to be exposed, secured, and removed. This technique suggests limited and careful use of a cyanoacrylate adhesive to bond a sized, hollow tube to the exposed tip of an obstruction. This method has been used clinically and has been found efficient and effective. It allows root canal obstructions to be removed without further breakage, while avoiding unnecessary mutilation of tooth structure.
