By sanctioning these three annual conferences, the Society of Craniofacial Genetics hopes that the impact of human genetics in dental education and dental practice will be realized by the individual student and practitioner. Human genetics and dentistry will continue to have an impact on each other so that dentistry will meet the challenge with innovative educational programs, advances in dental research, and more importantly, interdisciplinary diagnostic and therapeutic concepts.
